A family dentist your kids can grow up with
Families looking for a kids' dentist in Mountain House will find a practice where children are part of everyday life. Our office sits in Cordes Village Plaza, right across the road from Mountain House High School, so a good share of our afternoons are spent with students who stop in after the school day. Dr. Amandeep Brar treats children of every age, from a toddler's first checkup to a teenager keeping up with cleanings, and she takes the time to make each visit feel routine rather than rushed.
What we provide for children
- Gentle cleanings and checkups — scaled to a child's comfort level
- Fluoride treatments — to help strengthen developing teeth
- Dental sealants — a thin shield for the deep grooves of new molars
- Tooth-colored fillings — quiet, natural-looking repair when a cavity shows up
- Growth and bite checks — watching how adult teeth come in and line up
- Custom sports mouthguards — for kids playing contact sports
- Brushing and habit coaching — simple guidance that actually sticks at home
A first visit that feels easy
A child's first appointment is mostly about getting comfortable. We take it slow — a gentle look at the teeth, a cleaning if your child is ready, and plenty of time to answer questions. Parents are welcome to stay close the whole time. The aim of that first visit is simple: your child leaves feeling like the dentist is a normal, friendly place to be.
When should my child first see a dentist?
The general guidance is to bring a child in by their first birthday, or within six months of the first tooth appearing — whichever comes first. Early visits are short and easy, and they let us catch small things before they become uncomfortable. If your child is older and hasn't been seen yet, there is no wrong time to start.
